TAHAL Consulting Engineers Ltd. (TCE) has accompanied Israel's economic development since the 1950s. The company was established in the early days of the state with the aim of addressing one of Israel's most acute problems – lack of water – and has since then played a key role in the legendary blooming of the country's desert.
Today TCE is Israel's largest engineering firm, working with municipal, public and government organizations as well as with the private sector to better the country's water supply, sanitation, agricultural and infrastructure sectors. TCE serves on an ongoing basis as National Consultant to the Government Authority for Water and Sewage, as well as to the Israel Ministry of the Interior's Municipal Water Administration and to the National Sewerage Project, encompassing 80 towns.
Having turned its attention over the years to the needs of developing countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America, TCE has also acquired skills uniquely suited to emergent societies, making it a dynamic and progressive international concern. The company now offers a wide range of engineering services, including reconnaissance and feasibility studies, planning, design, construction supervision and project management, in fields of specialization encompassing water management, agricultural planning, wastewater treatment, environmental engineering, civil engineering and infrastructure, industrial engineering and energy, as well as turnkey projects in the water, sanitation and agricultural sectors.
